Students at Northwest Elementary School in Amityville recently celebrated 100 days of school with a day of creative activities.  

This milestone fosters learning, creativity and school spirit. Students showcased 100-item projects with counting collections such as beads and stickers. They also participated in engaging math and literacy challenges, they wore 100-day hats, and learned how to count to 100 in different ways. Adding to the excitement, students and teachers dressed up as 100-year-old people, complete with glasses, wigs and canes.
