Second graders in Ms. Kristina Komsic’s Leaders of Tomorrow after-school group at Northwest Elementary School in Amityville recently completedan amazing project in their Community Kindness Club. 

The students worked for the last two sessions creating fun and inspiring messages and designs on coffee sleeves in a mission that they called “Cup of Kindness.” The group would like to thank the New York Beanery on Merrick Road in Amityville for agreeing to feature our students’ hard work. They will dress each cup of coffee they sell with one of the students’ handmade coffee sleeves.
